I'm Leyla Mai, a documentary photographer and slow storyteller, working across digital and analogue photography processes. My work moves between social impact, local stories and the preservation of history and knowledge, alongside personal projects that explore the wider inquiry of life.

My background in start-ups, community-building and creative direction shaped how I work now: empathetic, curious, collaborative, subject-led. Together, we build considered bodies of work that open up new points of connection and record.
